Six-Ways To The Flop

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The action was picked up with six players going to the flop which came {10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

The players in the blinds check to the player under the gun who bet 900. He was called by a player in early position, Mike Chittick in middle position, and the small blind.

The turn card was the {j-Clubs}. The action checked to Chittick who fired a bet of 3,000 which got all of his opponents to fold. He scooped the pot to chip up.

Baime Grabs Some Chips

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Ken Baime raised to 800 under the gun and called a three-bet worth 2,000 from a player in early position.

The flop went {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Baime check-called for 2,100. When the {10-Diamonds} came on the turn, Baime led out for 3,700 and his opponent quickly folded.

Cohen With A Fuller House

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The action picked up with both players' hole cards face up on a board reading {2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Opponent: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Annette Cohen: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

Cohen won with a full house, kings over jacks.

Buhrow Busts One

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Peter Burhow opened to 1,100 and it was called by the cutoff and the big blind.

A flop {2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} appeared and Buhrow continued for 2,500 after it was checked to him. Only the cutoff called. Things heated on the {6-Spades} turn. Buhrow sent a 5,000 chip in the middle and the cutoff moved all in for his last 17,500. Buhrow took a minute and called.

Peter Burhow: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The {a-Spades} river didn't change anything and Burhow took down the pot and eliminated his opponent.

Early Entrants

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

One for Knipping

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The action started with a raise to 1,600 from the button and David Knipping who called in the big blind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Knipping quickly check-raised to 8,500 after a bet worth 3,000 from his opponent. The latter looked at his cards one more time and decided to fold his hand.

Carney Misclicks

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The player in the cutoff raised to 600. It folded to Christopher Carney in the small blind who called. Tim Phillips then three-bet in big blind to 2,200.

The original raiser called the 2,200. Carney meant to call the 2,200 but accidentally tossed out 10,200 which induced a shove for about 38,000 from Phillips.

The original raiser let his cards go but Carney called and said "I am priced in, I guess I will just rebuy."

That wouldn't be necessary because the board ran out {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Tim Phillips: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Chritopher Carney: {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Carney made a pair of eights on the flop and Phillips could not improve leaving him with crumbs.

Tannenbaum Takes it on the River

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player opened to 700 and Michael Tannenbaum three-bet to 1,700 in the cutoff. The big blind and the first player called.

The flop brought {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the three players quickly checked to see a {q-Hearts} on the turn. This time the big blind bet 1,000 and only Tannenbaum made the call.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and after a check from his opponent, Tannenbaum decided to send 3,000 in the middle. It was enough to make his opponent muck his hand and win the pot without showdown.
