Kliper Takes from Goindi

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

In a blind versus blind situation, Arie Kliper raised for 725,000 and Abhishek Goindi took a minute before making the call.

A flop {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} appeared and both players checked to see a {j-Spades} on the turn. Kliper thought about his move for some time and moved a pile of 100,000 chips in front of him. Goindi quickly mucked his cards.

Small Flush Earns Kubi a Big Double Up

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

With around 2,500,000 chips in the pot already, the board read {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The player in middle position ripped all in and Elad Kubi asked for a quick count before making the call for his remaining 5,770,000 chips.

Elad Kubi: {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Kubi flopped a six-high flush and had his opponent drawing dead with the nut straight. The insignificant {2-Hearts} completed the board and Kubi doubled up, leaving his opponent with 150,000 chips.

Double Up for Kociper

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

The action was picked up with Angelo Kociper being all in preflop for a remaining stack around 800,000 and Huy Pham who had made the call.

Kociper held {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} and was facing {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} in Pham's hand. The dealer showed a board {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, giving the winning hand and the double up to Kociper with ace-high.

Another Pot for Cohen

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Avi Cohen raised under the gun to 560,000 and a player moved all in for a stack worth 4,800,000. It came back to Cohen who tossed a chip in the middle for the call.

Avi Cohen: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The board {10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds} brought no miracle to Cohen's opponent who made his way to the payout desk while Cohen now seats with a stack over 16 millions.

Santolin Finds a Two-Outer

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Angelo Kociper moved all in for around 2,500,000 in middle position and Giancarlo Santolin also pushed all in for 2,115,000 in the cutoff. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.

Giancarlo Santolin: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Angelo Kociper: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Kociper was highly optimistic with his pocket kings on the board of {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. However, the dealer burned and turned the {q-Clubs} on the river and Santolin found a double up, leaving Kociper with just over one big blind.

Difficult Fold for Chang

Level 31 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante

Carlos Chang raised to 480,000 and only Piriscilla Lake got interested and called in the big blind. The flop went {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and brought no betting action.

A {4-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Lake check-raised all in for 2,060,000 a bet worth 400,000 from Chang. The latter went deep into the tank but ended up folding after the clock has been called.

Thibodeau Sends One Packing

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

There was an all-in for around 3,100,000 and Jacob Thibodeau was in the big blind with a stack of just over 4,000,000. Thibodeau eyed up the stack and then stuck in some chips to call.

Opponent: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Jacob Thibodeau: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

It turned out to be a coin flip and Thibodeau would hold the lead after the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. The {8-Clubs} on the turn and the {a-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Thibodeau eliminated his opponent.

Lucky Turn for Pham

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

A player limped under the gun and the button raised. Huy Pham moved all in for 3,600,000 and the button quickly folded after the initial limper called.

Huy Pham: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Pham was in bad shape for his tournament's life but the board fell {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Hearts}, giving a pair of aces to Pham on the turn and the double up.
