Brian Yoon raised in the cutoff and got three-bet by Danny Wong on the button. Yoon responded with a four-bet that Wong called.
Yoon drew one while Wong took two. Yoon then led out with a bet that Wong called.
Each player then drew one card and Yoon led out again. Once more, Wong called.
On the final draw each player stood pat, but this time Yoon checked to Wong, who bet. Yoon took a bit of time to think, then folded, awarding the pot to Wong, who is the first over one million chips.
Joao Vieira was on the verge of elimination recently but has surged back to a decent-sized stack after a pair of wins.
First, Vieira won a three-way pot versus Nathan Gamble and Wil Wilkinson, when he was all-in on the second post-draw betting round with just Gamble to beat after Wilkinson folded.
Vieira showed while Gamble was drawing to , but picked up a for a straight.
Shortly after, the same trio did battle again in an even bigger pot.
Vieira raised in the cutoff, Gamble three-bet the button, and Wilkinson cold-called from the small blind before Vieira also called.
Wilkinson drew one card, while his opponents drew two. Betting then got wild as Wilkinson bet and got raised by Vieira, Gamble called, and Wilkinson then put in a third bet which both opponents called.
Wilkinson stood pat while the others drew one. Again, Wilkinson led and got raised by Vieira. This time Gamble opted to fold, later saying he had made a rough eight. Wilkinson called.
Both remaining players then patted, and Wilkinson checked to Vieira, who bet. After a quick bit of thought, Wilkinson opted to fold, shipping the huge pot to Vieira.
