Team Kono Win One Lose One

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop of {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, Nikita Luther of Team Luther checked to Reiji Kono of Team Kono who put in a bet of 6,000 and Luther made the call.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Luther check-called again, this time the bet was 22,000.

The {4-Hearts} river got checked by both players and Luther tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for missed straight and flush draws and Kono took down the pot when he showed {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

On the following hand, Kono raised to 8,000 from middle position and Hwany Lee of Team Lee called in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Lee checked to Kono who continued for 6,000, which Lee called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and once Lee checked Kono fired again for 12,000, and Lee called.

The {4-Clubs} landed on the river and Lee splashed in a bet of 44,000 and Kono made the call. Lee tabled {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a straight on the river before Kono tabled the losing {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.
