Two in a Row for Team Ruter

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Michael Newman of Team Newman raised to 80,000 from under the gun and Samy Dighlawi of Team Ruter defended his big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Dighlawi check-called the 80,000 continuation-bet of Newman. The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Dighlawi checked again. Neman fired a bet of 150,000 over the line and Dighlawi called. The river completed the board with the {2-Diamonds} and they both checked. Dighlawi tabled the {a-Hearts} for ace-high and the pot as Newman mucked his hand.

"I've gone a whole round without a penalty!" Dighlawi was sure to tell the PokerNews live reporting team.

Two hands later, Dighlawi raised to 90,000 from the button and Vidur Sethi of Team Adam defended his big blind. The flop came {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}, Sethi check-called the 60,000 bet of Dighlawi. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Sethi checked again. This time, Dighlawi barreled 115,000 into the pot and Sethi came along to see the {10-Diamonds} on the river. They both opted to check for Dighlawi to claim another pot as he held the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the pair of nines.
