Team Lineberry Eliminated in 22nd Place ($3,276)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

As told by Michael Newman:

Michael Newman of Team Newman limped under the gun and Charles Lineberry of Team Lineberry jammed for his remaining stack of roughly 80,000 from the small blind. Kunal Patni of Team Luther called in the big blind before Newman made the call as well.

The dealer fanned the flop of {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Patni checked before Newman put in a bet, which forced Patni to surrender.

Team Lineberry: {a-}{6-}
Team Newman: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Lineberry couldn't catch an ace to survive as the board completed with the {2-Spades} on the turn and {7-Hearts} on the river.

Team Diaz Survives; Big Side Pot for Team Babbitt

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Martin Diaz of Team Diaz open-shoved a stack of around 40,000 and Michael Babbitt of Team Babbitt limped in on the button without realizing there had been raise. Babbitt called the raise and Brock Wilson of Team Song three-bet to 160,000 from the big blind. Babbitt called.

Wilson continued with a bet of 75,000 on the flop of {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Babbitt called, and called again when Wilson sized up to 160,000 on the {4-Spades} turn.

Wilson pulled the trigger once more on the {8-Hearts} river with a bet of 175,000. Babbitt called.

Wilson shook his head and showed {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for king-high before Diaz and Babbitt both showed a pair of aces with {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and {a-Spades}{3-Spades}, respectively. Diaz and Babbitt split the main pot while a massive side pot went to Team Babbitt.

Team Newman Doubles Through Team Song

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Michael Newman - Robert Ormont
Michael Newman - Robert Ormont

Brock Wilson of Team Song raised to 35,000 and Michael Newman of Team Newman three-bet for all of it. The action was back on Wilson who asked for a count. Finding out it was 322,000 he tanked a bit longer with some banter going on back and forth.

Eventually, Wilson decided to slam a stack of 1,000 chips into the middle to signal a call.

Team Newman: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Team Song: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Newman was way ahead with his pocket queens and improved on the {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {j-Spades} on the turn was a sweat though as Wilson picked up a flush draw and the river was the right color but wrong suit as the {10-Clubs} landed.

Team Luther Runs It Up

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Team Luther was down to crumbs at one point but Nikita Luther has managed to spin it up for her team.

In a recent hand, Luther opened in late position and both players in the blinds called. The flop came {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and all three players checked. Luther bet out when checked to on the {j-Hearts} turn and only Holly Babbitt in the big blind called.

Babbitt checked on the {9-Clubs} river and Luther took a minute before checking back. Luther showed the winning hand with {j-Clubs}{10-} for a pair of jacks and took the pot down.

Team Luther Loses Most; Quadruples After

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Nikita Luther - Kunal Patni
Nikita Luther - Kunal Patni

Michael Newman of Team Newman raised in early position and Nikita Luther of Team Luther defended the big blind.

On the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop Luther checked to Newman who instantly jammed all-in for 165,000 and Luther wasted no time calling.

Team Newman: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Team Luther: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Newman had flopped top two pair while Luther flopped a straight draw and a flush draw. The {q-Diamonds} on the turn made Newman a full house and the {2-Spades} on the river was just a formality. Luther was left with only 15,000 at the end of the hand.

After folding for a few hands, Luther had put her remaining chips in the middle. Holly Babbitt of Team Babbit called in the cutoff and the button called before Samy Dighlawi of Team Ruter raised to 82,000, forcing both players to fold.

Team Luther: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Team Ruter: {8-Spades}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}, giving Luther top pair to quadruple up.
