Tyler Cornell opened to 200,000 on the button and Jonathan Jaffe defended from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Jaffe checked to Cornell who continued for 145,000. Jaffe quickly check-raised to 375,000 and Cornell called.

The {9-Hearts} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Jaffe checked once more and Cornell quickly checked it back. Cornell whipped over {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for two pair and Jaffe's cards hit the muck.

Adrian Mateos raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Jaffe made the call in the big blind.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, Jaffe check-called the 140,000 continuation-bet of Mateos.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Jaffe checked again. This time, Mateos fired a bet of 575,000 over the line for Jaffe to fold.

Cornell Back Out Front

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Jaffe opted to check. Mateos bet 335,000 for Jaffe to fold. The Spanish rail had just rocked up and cheered loudly.

Mateos thought about it for over four minutes, struggling with his decision. He eventually called, and Liang showed him {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for two pair to earn the pot.

Adrian Mateos has been on a roll recently and has just officially taken over the big stack. Mateos limped from the small blind, and Tyler Cornell checked his option to see the flop come down {6-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Both players checked, and the same action occurred on the {5-Clubs} turn.

The {7-Clubs} completed the board, and this time, Mateos fired 2/3 pot, 200,000 Cornell called, but sent his cards to the dealer after Mateos showed {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair.

With that pot, Mateos now leads with nearly 6,800,000.

The flop brought them the {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Jaffe continued with a bet of 550,000 for Cornell to call again.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds}, Jaffe slowed down and checked. Cornell did the same for the {4-Spades} to complete the board on the river. Jaffe bet 400,000. Cornell thought about things for a while before he decided to raise to 1,700,000. Jaffe folded.

Mateos Keeps Applying Pressure

Adrian Mateos was back at it again by raising to 160,000 in the cutoff. Jonathan Jaffe called from the big blind and the dealer spread the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Jaffe checked-called a bet of 325,000 from Mateos and the {9-Clubs} landed on the turn. Jaffe checked again and Mateos counted out a bet of 825,000 this time. Jaffe still called and the {j-Diamonds} completed the board.

Jaffe checked for the third time and Mateos pushed out almost all of his chips, a bet of 2,900,000. Jaffe went deep into the tank for over three minutes before finally sliding his cards to the muck.
