Aces for Liang

Level 20 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Michael Liang
Michael Liang

Adrian Mateos raised to 240,000 from the button and Michael Liang three-bet to 865,000 from the big blind. Mateos called.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Liang continued with a bet of 480,000 after thinking about it for almost a minute and Mateos called.

The {9-Diamonds} was turned over for Liang to slow down and check. Mateos did the same and the {9-Hearts} completed the board for two pair on it.

After tanking for a while, Liang opted to barrel a bet of 600,000 into the pot. Mateos contemplated for a bit and called but mucked when Liang showed the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for a higher two pair than was on the board.
