Leng and Cates Go Back and Forth

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

In what began as a multi-way pot, after Robert Campbell folded following the second draw, Ryan Leng and Dan Cates patted their hands before the final betting round, where Leng bet into Cates, who called.

Leng showed {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, and his eight-perfect was enough to boost his stack to over four million chips.

No-Limit Hold'em

Shortly after, in another hand, Leng raised to 45,000 from the hijack position, and Cates called in the cutoff.

The duo checked the {2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop, then on the {10-Diamonds} turn Leng check-called an 80,000 chip bet from Cates.

The river brought the {2-Diamonds}, and Leng checked once more. Cates sized up to 235,000, and again Leng called.

Cates showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a turned set to regain a lot of the chips he had lost to Leng in their previous battle.
