Negreanu Leaves Dzivielevski Shorter

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Daniel Negreanu raised from under the gun and then called a three-bet by Yuri Dzivielevski in the big blind. Dzivielevski patted and Negreanu took one new card. The Brazilian then bet 30,000 into a pot of 130,000 and Negreanu piled in his stack of green T-25,000 chips.

Dzivielevski needed some 90 seconds and then sent his cards into the muck to forfeit the pot.

Friedman Makes the Call

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Aaron Katz bet on a board showing {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Adam Friedman called.

Katz bet again on the {8-Diamonds} river for 80,000, and Friedman took his time contemplating the call. After counting his chips, Friedman threw in a call that represented just under half his remaining stack. Katz said "five high" as Friedman turned over {q-Spades}{9-Clubs} to win the pot.

Hartmann Jams The River

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Three ways to the {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, the action checked around and Tony Hartmann in the big blind then bet 27,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn. Chad Eveslage in the hijack and Jesse Klein on the button both called. The {j-Spades} fell on the river and Hartmann jammed for 39,000. Eveslage reluctantly folded and Klein came to the same conclusion as Hartmann essentially doubled thanks to the multi-way action.

Paul Volpe and Anthony Zinno are the far biggest stacks on the table.

Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

No-Limit Hold'em

There were four players involved to the {j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and Phil Hellmuth bet 26,000 in the cutoff. Ryan Leng folded on the button and Adam Friedman did so in the small blind. George Alexander check-called out of the big blind and then checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

Hellmuth bet 41,000 out of a total stack of around 175,000 and Alexander then check-raised to give Hellmuth the option to fold or call all-in. Once Hellmuth called, Alexander said "you are not going to like this one" as he flipped over the {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a gutshot that had filled up.

Hellmuth still had outs with the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} but missed on a blank {k-Spades} river. He vaulted out of his seat, gave a short speech and then stormed out of the tournament area.

Bryce Yockey: {a-Hearts}{x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

With Kuznetsov only able to watch and wait as Lamb's bet on sixth street was called. Yockey then led out on seventh and Lamb called, as the three players compared hands.

Yockey showed aces and eights, but Lamb turned over aces and jacks. Kuznetsov then noted that there was no low and made his exit from the table.

Ohel Doubles Through Brewer

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Randy Ohel
Randy Ohel

No-Limit Hold'em

Ben Lamb raised to 12,000 on the button and Chris Brewer three-bet to 44,000 in the small blind. Randy Ohel four-bet jammed for 166,000 and Lamb folded. Brewer immediately asked for a count and Ohel did the favour himself. What followed was a tank for 90 seconds in which Brewer talked through all possible combinations before he then called.

Randy Ohel: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Chris Brewer: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

There was no sweat on the {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board as Ohel doubled. "Ben's raising size really fucked me up," Brewer joked.
