Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Nathan Gamble
Nathan Gamble

The action was picked up on a flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} with Nathan Gamble, who called off his last 5,000 chips against Calen McNeil.

The hands were tabled; it was the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} for top set of kings held by McNeil that was in the lead against the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} of Gamble.

The dealer burned and dealt the {k-Diamonds} turn, which sealed the deal as McNeil improved to quad kings, leaving Gamble drawing dead.

The Meaningless river card {7-Clubs} made it official, and Gamble was eliminated from the tournament.

Bustamante Scoops; Eliminates Reading

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
John Reading
John Reading

The hand was discovered as all of the chips went into the middle on a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

The players all table their hands.

Dylan Wilkerson: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Bryant Bustamante: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
John Reading: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}

It was the aces held by Wilkerson that were in the lead, with both Bustamante and Reading on the draw.

The dealer dealt the {k-Diamonds} turn card and Bustamante catapulted into the lead with an ace-high diamond flush.

The river card was a {k-Clubs} and that sealed the deal for Bustamante and he was awarded the pot, which in turn eliminated Reading from the tournament.

Calen McNeil Eliminated in 16th Place ($7,396)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Calen McNeil
Calen McNeil

The action was picked up on a flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and all of the chips ended up in the middle.

The hands were tabled and the players held:

Matthew Kaplan: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Michael Trivett: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Calen McNeil: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

It was Trivett's aces that led the kings held by McNeil and Kaplan had a nut low and a wheel draw.

The turn card was the {9-Clubs} and changed nothing.

The river card, however, was the {5-Hearts} which completed Kaplan's wheel and he scooped the massive pot, and McNeil was eliminated from the tournament in 16th place.

Jason Straziuso
Jason Straziuso

The hand was discovered on a completed board of {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs} with Jason Straziuso all-in and at risk versus Roman Hrabec and Tamon Nakamura.

The players tabled their cards and it was the {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} held by Hrabec that took the high with a seven-high straight, which bested the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} for two pairs aces and sevens held by Straziuso; the latter was eliminated in 15th place from the tournament. Tamon Nakamura took the low side of the pot with his {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and was awarded half of the pot.
