Event #63: $500 Salute To Warriors is a single re-entry tournament that is open to all players, but WSOP organizers are also encouraging current and former military members to jump in the action.

The event benefits the United Services Organization (USO), which has provided live entertainment and other services for the active military for 77 years and other military-related charities. To salute the warriors, $40 of each buy-in will go directly to benefiting those organizations.

At the 2019 World Series of Poker Susan Faber was crowned champion for this event, outlasting 1723 players to win her first bracelet and $121,161.

The action kicks off today, Tuesday, November 2 and will wrap up on Thursday, November 4th. Cards are in the air from 11:00 a.m. local time and players will start their day armed with a 25,000 starting stack.

Day 1 is scheduled to play 15 levels which last 40-minutes. Players will receive a 20-minute break after every three levels and a 75-minute dinner break after Level 9 approximately 5:40 p.m. local time. Players are allowed one re-buy while late registration is open, which gives them until the conclusion of the ninth level to make any re-entries.

Stay tuned here as the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand throughout the day bringing you all of the updates of this historical event.
