Watson Holds to Bust Jattin

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Farid Jattin was all in for around 100,000 and up against Mike Watson.

Farid Jattin: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Mike Watson: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Watson got a sweat when the {2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop gave Jattin an open-ended straight draw, but the board bricked out {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs} as Jattin made a hasty exit from the tournament area.

Straight for Hakim

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

A player opened in the cutoff and Jeffrey Hakim decided to call in the big blind.

The flop {3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} brought no betting action and the {4-Hearts} fell on the turn. This time Hakim led out for 17,000 and it was called by his opponent.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Hakim sent another bet, this time increasing the amount to 28,000. His opponent tanked for a minute and opted to call, but mucked his hand after Hakim tabled {7-Spades}{6-Clubs} for the straight.

Filippi Gets a Fold in Hand That Lasts Into the Break

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

There was already 260,000 in the middle on the river with the board showing {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds} when Amnon Filippi moved all in for 180,000. An opponent in the small blind tanked for several minutes before folding.

Action was then on Mike Watson in the big blind, who also tanked for a few minutes before turning over {a-}{2-} and mucking. Filippi showed {10-}{10-} as he collected the big pot and went off on break.

Somerville Takes Out Vieira

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

In the first hand back from break, Joao Vieira shoved for his last 70,000 from under the gun and Jason Somerville called from the small blind.

"Good luck guys," Vieira said, pretending to walk away from the table before even showing his hand. He had {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} against the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for Somerville.

Vieira picked up a flush draw on the turn but missed the river on a board of {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, hitting the rail just short of the money.
