The Great Bubble Survival Story

It seems like there's usually a great story about someone surviving the bubble under crazy circumstances, and the Mini Main Event is no different.

Just four places before the bubble burst, Dan Wagner was all in for his last 5,000 chips with versus Lloyd Fransenmeier's . The appeared on the flop and Wagner was in dire straits. A miraculous runout of the turn and the river came for Wagner to make a flush and survive.

But his peril wasn't done there.

Still, with just 40,000 chips, he was due to be all-in in the big blind on the next hand as play was paused to count the remaining players.

However, before his final few chips had to go in the middle again, the announcement was made that players were now in the money, and Wagner had survived.

Even better still, Wagner survived that all-in and has since quickly spun his stack up to 200,000.
