Flush Over Flush All-In

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A bit of controversy at the start of a hand in which Maria Konnikova raised to 2,500, got a caller and it folded to Doris Windhoff and she put in calling chips then said raise.

The floor was called to confirm it was only a call because the chips hit the felt before she announced raise and the flop came all diamonds {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Windhoff checked Konnikova checked and their opponent bet 4,000.

Only Windhoff called and the turn was {5-Spades}. Windhoff checked again and her opponent bet 11,500 which she quickly called.

The river was {q-Hearts} and Windhoff bet 2,000 and her opponent raised to 67,000. Windhoff raised all-in for her remaining 101,000 and her opponent quickly called.

Windhoff showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the nut flush and someone at the table requested to see her opponent's hand which was {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the worst flush.
