With already about 8 million in the pot, the board was reading {5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Zachary Donovan cut out a bet of 4,200,000 and Nathanael Kogel called after a long time.

Donovan confidently rolled over {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks and Kogel mucked his hand.

Pierre Merlin Eliminated in 19th Place ($15,615)

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Pierre Merlin
Pierre Merlin

Lich Bui limped in the hijack before Sejin Park raised to 1,200,000. Pierre Merlin was on the button and jammed for his remaining 1,850,000 and Bui made the call. The action was back on Park and he asked if he was allowed to raise. After being told he could only call or fold he opted to call.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and both Bui and Park checked the dry side pot. The {j-Diamonds} hit the turn and Bui checked once more to Park who fired a bet of 2,000,000, which forced Bui out of the hand.

Pierre Merlin: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Sejin Park: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Merlin was ahead on the turn with a pair of jacks but the {8-Diamonds} on the river completed Park's flush to eliminate Merlin in 19th place for $15,615.

Light Shove Backfires for Alejandro

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Folded to him in the small blind, Lee Alejandro open-shoved and Lich Bui called in the big blind for about 15 big blinds effectively.

Lee Alejandro: {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Lich Bui: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Alejandro was still drawing live after the {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop and {4-Clubs} turn but also missed on the {8-Hearts} river to hand the double to Bui.

Max Pinnola Eliminated in 17th Place ($15,615)

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Max Pinnola
Max Pinnola

Max Pinnola shoved his entire stack of 4,600,000 in the cutoff and Sejin Park called from the big blind.

Max Pinnola: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Sejin Park: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Pinnola was in great shape until the flop came {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}, giving Park top pair. The {3-Spades} hit the turn for Pinnola to have some hope with a flush draw but the {a-Diamonds} on the river only improved Park to trip aces.

Yanovski Keeps Firing

Level 34 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Leonid Yanovski raised to 1,025,000 in the cutoff and Georgios Sotiropoulos defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Sotiropoulos check-called a bet of 1,400,000.

The {10-Clubs} was the turn and Sotiropoulos checked once again to Yanovski who fired in 3,800,000 which finally forced Sotiropoulos to surrender the pot.
