Mamiya Gets Richer

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Five players saw a flop of {6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Rodney Horton bet 300,000 from under the gun and only Matt Mamiya called from the button.

Horton checked the {9-Clubs} turn and Maniya bet 400,000. Horton called, then checked dark as the {3-Hearts} fell on the river. Maniya bet another 400,000 and Horton went into the tank for several minutes.

"Blinds up in a couple of minutes," Kao Saechao joked.

"You can see me literally sweating," Maniya said.

"That means you have a good hand," Horton responded. He eventually called and Maniya showed {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a full house.

A few hands after losing the big pot to Matt Mamiya, Rodney Horton got the last of his chips from the small blind against big blind Nikolay Yosifov on a flop of {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Rodney Horton: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Nikolay Yosifov: {4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Horton had found the last deuce in the deck to make a set, but Yosifov had flopped a straight. "Pair the board," Horton pleaded, but the turn and river came {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and he hit the rail.

"That was quick," Horton said after wishing the rest of the table good luck.
