Vieira Eliminated by Gulati

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

A player in early position opened to 55,000 and Joao Vieira three-bet shoved a stack of about 400,000 in middle position. Tarun Gulati in late position then counted out his stack before announcing a re-jam with Vieira covered. The early position player folded to get the hand heads-up.

Joao Vieira: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Tarun Gulati: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Vieira was pipped in the preflop cooler and did not improve on the runout of {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, which gave Gulati a set.

"I knew I was so dead when he started counting (his chips)," Vieira said before walking off to the payout counter.
