Mark Herm

David Peters shoved the river {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, with about 500,000 in the middle and Mark Herm went deep into the tank for his tournament life.

Herm, who had 600,000 behind, stood up and starting using his tank banks as he eyed Peters.

"When is my hand dead," Herm asked the dealer?

Herm put in his final two time banks before making the call.

Herm tabled {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights, and Peters sent his hand into the muck face-down.
