The 52nd annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada continues today with Event #9: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship commencing at 3 p.m. local time.
Players will begin with a starting stack of 60,000 and blinds at 300-500 and betting limits of 500-1,000. Levels will last 60 minutes with 15-minute breaks every two levels. Beginning on Day 2, blind levels will increase to 90 minutes in duration.
The event is scheduled to run for four days and Day 1 will break after ten levels. Day 2 will start up on Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. and Day 3 will take place the next day at the same time. Day 4 will take place on Oct. 7 at an undetermined time and will play down to a winner, who will earn a WSOP bracelet and a big share of the prize pool.
Frankie O’Dell of Long Beach, California is the reigning champion of the $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship after taking it down during the 2019 WSOP for $443,641.
