Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dragana Lim bet the {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} turn for 9,000 to earn a call and then led the {k-Spades} river for another 10,000. Skrovan Cracks Aces to Continue Run

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

John Skrovan is on a run after starting the day with less than the starting stack.

Skrovan got into a pre-flop raising war with an opponent that ended with all 214,000 of his chips at risk.

John Skrovan: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

The flop was {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Skrovan was in big trouble, but the turn came {j-Hearts} and the river {10-Clubs} to crack the aces with a runner-runner Broadway straight. Skrovan is now above 400K and looking for more after starting the day near the bottom of the leaderboard.

Buse Doubles Through Boeree

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A player opened to 8,500 from middle position and Liv Boeree called on the button. Mark Buse then jammed in his stack of 51,500 from the small blind and the middle position player let go of his hand. Boeree thought it over and looked to be doing some mental calculations before ultimately deciding to risk it for the biscuit.

Mark Buse: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Liv Boeree: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}

"Oh my gosh, I thought I was live," Boeree said.

She did still have a live jack in addition to possible draw outcomes, but all hope was essentially lost as the {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop brought out the case nine to give Buse a set. The {k-Hearts} and {a-Hearts} completed the board and Buse's double was confirmed.

Leonard Busts One

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Charles Leonard raised and then instantly called the shove of an opponent from two seats over for more than 110,000. The player at risk tabled the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Leonard was way ahead with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

On a board of {k-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts}, no seven appeared and Leonard leaped above half a million in chips. Also featured on the table is Josip Simunic on a shorter stack.

Newhouse Wins With The Ladies

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mark Newhouse opened to 8,000 from middle position and was called by the player on the button.

Newhouse continued for a 10,000 bet on the {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and the button called.

The {10-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Newhouse check-called a 12,000 bet from his opponent.

Both players decided to check on the {a-Hearts} river and Newhouse tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for the winner.

"I had nines," Newhouse's opponent said as he mucked.
