Fuhs Chips Up Early

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Juan Sosa was eliminated shortly after coming back and Kevin Bayer saw his stack reduced to a short stack moments later on the same table. After a raise to 4,800 and three callers, it was Bayer who bet each street. On the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop he bet 6,000 and was called by Daniel Fuhs while Per Hildebrand and Daniel Lowery both folded.

Bayer's bets of 11,000 on the {4-Spades} turn and 35,000 on the {7-Clubs} river were called and he rolled over the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Fuhs had that beat with {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights to win the pot.

Entine Doubles Through Kudo

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Oliver Entine raised to 41,000 from early position, leaving 2,400 behind. Mikiya Kudo put 55,000 out and created some confusion because it was not a full raise. The floor manager was brought over to see if Entine's last 2,400 had action and if Kudo made an allowable raise.

The action was ruled a raise and Entine called his last 2,400.

Oliver Entine: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Mikiya Kudo: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and the aces held to secure an important early double for Entine.

Puka Slips Up Early

Level 11 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Erind Puka opened to 5,000 in the cutoff and Christopher Dowling three-bet to 15,200 from the small blind. Puka called and the two players saw a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Dowling continued for 8,000 and Puka called.

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and Dowling fired out another bet of 12,000. Puka still called and the {6-Clubs} completed the board. Dowling checked this time and Puka quickly checked it back. Dowling turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a pair of aces and Puka sent his cards to the muck.

"Aces? That doesn't seem fair," Juric said. "I honestly almost folded preflop."
