Ragozzini Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Jesse Lonis raised to 240,000 and was called by Sean Ragozzini in the big blind. On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, Ragozzini elected to check-call for 190,000 and both then checked down the {9-Clubs} turn and {j-Spades} river. Ragozzini revealed the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for two pair and Lonis' cards were somehow exposed as he had the inferior {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Vasu Amarapu

Vasu Amarapu raised to 340,000 from early position and David Coleman was the lone caller.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Amarapu continued for 340,000 and Coleman called.

The turn was {j-Diamonds} and Amarapu shoved for 3.4 million. Coleman thought it over briefly and called.

Amarapu turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a pair of jacks and Coleman had {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks with a smaller kicker and a flush draw.

The river was {a-Diamonds} and Amarapu dodged trouble to find another big double on Day 6.

Toole Eliminated by Pizzari Pinto

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jake Toole
Jake Toole

Philipe Pizzari Pinto opened from middle position and Jake Toole three-bet jammed a stack of 1,200,000 from the big blind. Pizzari Pinto asked for a count and then called before the dealer could even confirm the amount.

Jake Toole: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Philipe Pizzari Pinto: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Toole was dominated and drawing thin when the flop came {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, pairing the kicker of his opponent. The turn brought the {7-Hearts} and Toole was drawing dead heading to the {3-Hearts} river, ending the deep Main Event run for the co-host of the Barstool Sports "Cracking Aces" podcast.

Toole fared better than his co-host, Eric Nathan, who was eliminated in the last level of Day 1d after failing to get a semi-bluff through.
