After 11 hours of play it was Desmond "Deezz_Nutzz" Haynes who emerged victorious after defeating "nahynnek0914" in heads-up play to win his first WSOP gold bracelet and $44,827 in Event #28: $365 NLH Monster Stack on WSOP.com. With over 500 entries and 250 rebuys in this deepstack format, it took almost seven hours to whittle down to the money bubble at 96, and even the stone bubble took almost 20 minutes to pop once it was hand-for-hand, until Fred Li was eliminated in 97th place.

But once the players were in the money, the chips really started flying and it took just under three hours to get to the final table, where the action was faster than ever.

The first casualty on the final table was Brian "blipblip" Lipman, when he ran his ace-ten up against Hayne’s ace-queen suited, and then proceeded to hit the nut flush on the river to eliminate Lipman.

Next to go was WSOP Bracelet holder Ryan "Protential" Laplante, who was also holding ace-10 when he was knocked out by Haynes and his superior ace-jack when a jack appeared on the board.

Then it was Miguel "LordMTM" Vazquez who was out in seventh when he had ace-jack and was up against "nahynnek0914" with pocket queens. The board did not provide him with any luck and he was sent to the rail.

In sixth place came WSOP champion Alex "OrcinusOrca" Foxen after a particularly brutal hand. He got it all in with pocket aces against "nahynnek0914" who had deuce-four off-suit and Foxen flopped top set of aces on a three-spade board. Unfortunately for him, a fourth spade came on the river and "nahynnek0914" was holding the deuce of spades to give him a flush and sent Foxen to the rail in dramatic fashion.

Haynes then knocked out the next two players; Guan was knocked out in fifth when he couldn’t beat Hanyes’ king-high and Volosovich was eliminated in fourth when Haynes hit a queen on the turn to beat his ace-high.

Then Kade was sent home in third by "nahynnek0914" when her pocket fours couldn't hold up to her opponent's pocket nines that even made a set on the flop.

After barely an hour of final table action, it was heads-up between nahynnek0914 and Haynes, a fitting match, really, as they were the only two who had scored knockouts at the final table. It lasted only a few hands, however, as Haynes took the lead early on after winning a big hand to put him at a 4:1 advantage. "Nahynnek0914" then got it all in with king-jack against Haynes’ ace deuce but Haynes flopped a deuce and held the entire way to secure his victory and sent "nahynnek0914" to the rail for the runner-up prize of $32,700.
