"ankurkjus" Sucks Out, Oppenheim Re-Sucks to Double

David Oppenheim
David Oppenheim

Blinds: 8,000/16,000/2,000

"ankurkjus" open-shoved a stack of 263,248 from early position and David "jimisendrix" Oppenheim moved in from the button with a slightly smaller stack to get the hand heads-up.

David "jimisendrix" Oppenheim: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
"ankurkjus": {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

The flop of {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} gave "ankurkjus" some hope with a pair of threes, and the {3-Diamonds} appeared on the turn to give them a a huge lead with trips. Incredibly, the {10-Clubs} then peeled off on the river to give Oppenheim a set to double up.

Platt Cashes Two WSOP.com Events

Jeff Platt
Jeff Platt

Jeff "mavsusc" Platt had a good poker Sunday that saw the PokerGO commentator cashing in both Event #7: $365 NLH and Event #8: $1,000 NLH 6-Max, which he is still alive in with 30 players remaining.

The deep runs in the WSOP.com bracelet events come just weeks after Platt took down the MSPT Venetian $1,100 Main Event for $100,804 and his first MSPT title.

Coleman Runs Into Ladies

Blinds: 5,000/10,000/1,300

Maxx "Mc4chess" Coleman opened to 20,000 from the cutoff and "Ironhead007" threebet to 60,000 from the cutoff. Coleman four-bet jammed a stack of 292,538 and "Ironhead007" called with a bigger stack.

Maxx "Mc4chess" Coleman: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
"Ironhead007": {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Coleman couldn't get ahead of his opponent's queens as the board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} to mark his elimination.

Schulman Chip Leading

Schulman Hits Flush as Elsmaily Busts

Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Blinds: 3,000/6,000/750

Nick "CashUsKlay" Schulman opened to 12,000 on the button and Fadi "fadiphatu1" Elsmaily three-bet to 41,362 from the small blind. Schulman called.

Elsmaily bet 34,537 on the flop of {4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Schulman called. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Elsmaily moved all in for 127,134. Schulman called.

Fadi "fadiphatu1" Elsmaily: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Nick "CashUsKlay" Schulman: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

Elsmaily had the better kicker while Schulman was looking to hit a spade. The poker commentator did so as the river brought the {4-Spades} to give him the flush to eliminate Elsmaily
