Le Doubles Through Ashby

Level 14

Big O

Since being left short by Naoya Kihara, Tuan Le has made the most of a table change and chipped back up to almost 300,000 chips.

In a recent hand he found himself all in and at risk on an {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop against Richard Ashby.

Tuan Le: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Richard Ashby: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Le's set of aces was ahead, but Ashby had outs to a wheel and a low to split the pot.

The turn brought the {j-Clubs}, and while the river was a low card, it was the {4-Diamonds}, counterfeiting Ashby's low draw and sending the whole pot to Le.
