Ladines Runs Hot; Busts Negreanu

Level 6
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit Omaha High

On a completed board of {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Joshua Ladines bet 18,000 and that sent Carol Fuchs into the tank. Fuchs ended up folding and Ladines flashed three cards to her including the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a straight flush.

One hand later, Daniel Negreanu raised and called a three-bet by Ladines to then get his chips in after the {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop with Ladines making the call.

Daniel Negreanu: {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Joshua Ladines: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {k-Diamonds} turn and the {k-Clubs} river improved Ladines to quads and knocked out Negreanu.

Clements Wins Showdown Pot Against Zyrin

Level 6

Omaha Hi-Lo

Following a flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Anatolii Zyrin check-raised a bet by Scott Clements and the Russian mixed game specialist picked up a call by Clements. Zyrin bet the {8-Clubs} turn for Clements to call and check-called the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Clements flipped over {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} for the second nut flush to win the pot.

Small Pots Boost Clements

Level 6

Badugi

After the final draw, Matthew Ashton bet and then called a raise by Scott Clements. "I have a wheel, is that good?" before flipping over the {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts} for the best possible hand.

Ashton conceded the pot with a smile on the face.

Omaha Hi-Lo

Ashton then raised and was called by Todd Barlow and Clements in the blinds. On the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, Barlow and Clements check-called a bet by Ashton and did so again on the {j-Spades} turn. The {3-Clubs} river was checked and Barlow's {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} chopped with the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Clements.

Bojang Bamboozled by Guagenti

Level 6

No-Limit Hold'em

Ismael Bojang opened with a raise to 2,100 in the cutoff and was called by Chip Jett on the button and Nick Guagenti in the big blind.

On a flop of {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, Guagenti checked to Bojang, who bet 3,500. Jett folded and Guagenti called.

The remaining duo then checked the {10-Diamonds} turn, but on the river {6-Clubs}, Guagenti led for 9,000.

Bojang paused briefly then bugged his eyes out and shook his head at the situation.

After a bit more thought, Bojang flicked in two red chips to call but saw Guagenti roll over {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for a turned queen-high straight and quickly shipped his hand into the muck.

Lehr Doubles Through Buchanan

Level 6

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

After the second draw, Keith Lehr checked in the big blind and so did Brian Brunner in the hijack. Shawn Buchanan then bet 13,000 on the button for Lehr to jam for 31,800 total. Brunner tank-folded and Buchanan reluctantly called.

"I am stuck with these," Lehr declared and patted, to which Buchanan patted back. "Number two," Lehr announced and revealed the {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Buchanan grabbed his cards and sent them flying saucer style high and hit the dealer, through which the {8-}{4-}{3-}{2-} were exposed.

Bellande Among Latest Entrants; Updated Counts

Level 6

Jean Robert Bellande has just taken a seat to the left of Daniel Negreanu.

"Kid Poker" immediately brought out his vlogging camera for a bit of a chat and some fun with his new tablemate.

Ramos Chops With Shoreman

Level 6

Badacey

There was some verbal arguments between Felipe Ramos and Jon Shoreman as to what happened on the third and final draw, on which both players already had 8,400 each in. Ramos confirmed that he had patted and Shoreman then patted back after a few seconds.

Ramos checked and called a bet by Shoreman to reveal the {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for a sixty-five and three-card four-Dugi. Shoreman won half the pot with {5-Hearts} / {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a seven-Dugi and a seventy-six.

Brown Jams Up his Stack

Level 6

2-7 Triple Draw

Andrew Brown tangled in a bigger pot against William Appel and chipped up without showdown. It was unclear if there had been a drawing round done already but Brown raised the pot to 36,300 following a raise by Appel. No call followed and the pot was shipped to Brown, who had declared "no worries, I have it," more to the rail than other players at the table during the proceedings.
