On the first hand of Day 3, Robert Linchesky was all in for his last 45,000 from the big blind and up against small blind Ben Ross, who had still not stacked up his chips.

Robert Linchesky: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Ben Ross: {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

"At least I'm live," Linchesky said as the flop came {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}.

"King ball one time," Ross called, but the {9-Diamonds} turn gave Linchesky a pair and the lead.

The river, though, came the {k-Spades} and Linchesky became the first casualty of the day.

"Why did I have to get sucked out on the last hand," Linchesky said, still smiling as he wished the rest of the table good luck.

Damoun Nikouie raised under the gun and Kenny Hsiung called in the small blind before Patrick Megna three-bet in the big blind. Nikouie put in a four-bet, forcing Hsiung out of the pot and Megna capped it. Nikouie called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and very quickly Megna and Nikouie raised until Megna was all-in for 180,000.

Patrick Megna: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Damoun Nikouie: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Megna ran into a preflop cooler and couldn't find a jack as the board completed with the {k-Diamonds} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Megna was eliminated in 15th Place for $5,553.

Joe McKeehen raised from middle position and Fred Lavassani called on the button. From the small blind, Pedro Rios re-raised, big blind Mike Picardi went all in for his last 65,000, and McKeehen and Lavassani both called.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Rios bet. McKeehen was the only caller as Lavassani got out of the way and they saw the turn of {10-Clubs}.

Rios bet again, but this time McKeehen came back with a raise. Rios called, then check-called another bet on the {2-Spades} river.

McKeehen turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair while Rios flashed {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. "Baby hearts," Picardi said as the dealer flipped over his {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

"Pay me," Picardi added as he became the third elimination within the first 10 minutes of the day.

Action has been fast and furious here at the start of Day 3.

At the same time as Mike Picardi was being eliminated on the other table, Francisco Garzon, Yueqi Zhu, and Nick Pupillo built a huge pot pre-flop that ended with Garzon all in.

Pupillo called two bets as the board came {6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, then both players checked the {7-Spades} river. Zhu showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} for ace-high while Pupillo had {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Garzon, who built a massive chip lead at one point yesterday, tapped the table and flipped over {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} before making his exit in 13th place.

Fred Lavassani raised from the cutoff before Pedro Rios three-bet on the button. Lavassani four-bet and Rios called.

Rios only had a few chips behind and Lavassani put him all in dark. Rios committed the chips before the dealer turned over the {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop.

Pedro Rios: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Fred Lavassani: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Rios was behind and left drawing to a chop when the {q-Clubs} turn gave Lavassani the nut straight. The river came the {9-Hearts} and Rios was eliminated in 12th place.

Joe McKeehen raised on the button and called Kenny Hsiung's three-bet from the small blind.

On the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, Hsiung fired a bet and McKeehen tossed in the chips to call.

As the {a-Spades} was hitting the turn, Hsiung had already fired a bet into the middle. McKeehen raised and Hsiung put the rest of his chips across the line before both hands were tabled.

Kenny Hsiung: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Joe McKeehen: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Hsiung had turned two pair but McKeehen turned Broadway and Hsiung couldn't get there on the {8-Diamonds} river. Hsiung took home $8,446 for his 11th place finish.

Yueqi Zhu

Yueqi Zhu raised under the gun and Damoun Nikouie three-bet in the cutoff. Once the action was back on Zhu, he quickly four-bet and Nikouie put enough chips across the line to put Zhu at risk.

Yueqi Zhu: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Damoun Nikouie: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Zhu had Nikouie dominated and was able to hold on the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} run out.

Damoun Nikouie raised under the gun and Christoph Kwon put in the three-bet in the small blind. Nikouie quickly four-bet and Kwon put the final raise in. Nikouie had 180,000 total and made the call.

Damoun Nikouie: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Christoph Kwon: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Nikouie was only slightly behind but the {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop left him needing runner-runner. Unfortunately for Nikouie the {5-Hearts} had him drawing dead and the {9-Diamonds} river was just a formality. Nikouie was eliminated in 10th place for $8,446.

Lee Markholt Eliminated in 9th Place ($10,701)

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante
Lee Markholt
Lee Markholt

On the first hand back from break, Lee Markholt raised from middle position and Michael Moncek called in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Markholt bet. Moncek then raised enough to put Markholt all in, and Markholt committed his last 70,000.

Lee Markholt: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Michael Moncek: {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Moncek had outflopped Markholt's jacks by hitting two pair. The turn came the {q-Spades} and Markholt began calling for another queen on the river to get a higher two pair.

Instead, the dealer turned over the {a-Clubs} and Markholt was eliminated in ninth place.

"Was like that all day," Markholt said as he wished the rest of the table luck.
