Kwon Makes the Right Call

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Christoph Kwon
Christoph Kwon

Christoph Kwon raised the cutoff and Michael Moncek called in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Moncek check-raised. Kwon called.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the turn and Moncek continued with a bet. Kwon pushed some chips across the line to make the call.

When the {2-Diamonds} hit the river Moncek didn't slow down, tossing in a bet. Kwon tanked for about 30 seconds and made the call.

Moncek tabled {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for busted straight, flush, and straight-flush draws, and Kwon gave a sigh of relief as he showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fours to scoop the pot.
