Picardi Wins One, Loses One Versus Campbell

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Robert Campbell raised from early position, then called when Mike Picardi re-raised. A bet from Picardi on the {3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop was enough to get Campbell to fold.

The next hand, the two tangled again. Picardi raised pre-flop and Campbell defended his big blind. They checked down to the river on a board of {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} when Campbell led out with a bet.

Picardi quickly called but mucked when Campbell turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for trip kings.

Hoffman is Disgusted with the River

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

On the turn with a healthy-sized pot already brewed the board read {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Joseph Hoffman check-raised a bet from Jason Duong. Duong made the call.

The dealer flipped the {j-Clubs} on the river and Hoffman checked to Duong who fired in a bet. Hoffman looked annoyed as he leaned back in his chair. "Did you really hit a jack?" before putting in a call.

Duong tabled {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for kings full of jacks and Hoffman frustratedly tossed his {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} face up before the dealer shipped the pot to Duong.

Kim Misreads the Board, Still Wins

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Gordon Pike raised pre-flop before Dennis Kim re-raised from the cutoff. Pike called to see the {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Spades} flop, then called another bet from Kim.

Both players checked the {k-Hearts} turn before Pike led out on the {9-Diamonds} river. Kim quickly called.

Pike showed {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for two pair, queens and jacks. "I misread the board. I would've raised," Kim said before turning over {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for trip kings.

"I spaced out. I was thinking too much," Kim added before collecting the pot.

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Robert Campbell
Robert Campbell

Roy Sanam raised under the gun and Robert Campbell called in the big blind.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Campbell check-called a bet from Sanam.

The {k-Clubs} hit the turn and Campbell instantly put in a bet and Sanam called.

The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Campbell bet again and Sanam wasted no time calling. Campbell tabled {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a straight on the turn and Sanam tapped the table to show respect for the good hand. Sanam tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a pair of kings and a busted royal flush draw as the pot got shipped to Campbell.

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

"Come sweat this one," Evan Ross said as he moved in his last chips on the {j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. He was up against both Harun Sapmaz and Fred Lavassani.

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Ross turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Lavassani, though, had {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} to bust Ross a few spots away from the money.

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Jonathan Clay raised and Peter Lynn put in a three-bet on the button. Jacob Ferro cold-called in the big blind and Lynn made the call.

On the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, Ferro checked and Clay tossed in a bet. Both Lynn and Ferro made the call.

The {6-Clubs} turn and {7-Diamonds} river were both checked through and Clay opened first, showing {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for jack-high. Lynn opened {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Ferro mucked his hand.
