Day 3 of Event #16: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em on Tap for Noon; Platt Still In

The 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas is very excited for the start of Day 3 of Event #16: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em. The field is so full of notable players, that even Jeff Platt may have to commentate on himself if he reaches the final table. The popular announcer has bagged the last two days of the tournament, and returns for Day 3 with more than 40 big blinds (790,000).

He will be joined by players outside of the top ten like JJ Liu (245,000) and Kitty Kuo (650,000), and everybody will be after the first place prize of $558,616 and the elusive gold bracelet.

The field of 1,240 entries created a prize pool of $2,469,750 and of those, only 75 remain and everyone is in the money, guaranteed at least $7,660. Today the action will begin at 12 p.m. local time with Level 21 and blinds of 10,000/20,000 with 20,000 big blind ante. Levels are 60-minutes long and players will get a 15-minute break after every two. Dinner break will come about 6:30 p.m. after Level 26 and play will continue tonight until only five remain. Those five will return for Day 4 at a time yet to be determined, on Saturday, June 11th, for a feature-table finale.

Below are the top ten in chips to start the day, but with a field so filled with big names and crushers, don't count anyone out of the running yet.
