Peters Eliminates Young with...Ten High?!

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

A short-stacked Justin Young put 240,000 of his remaining 350,000 chips in from early position and was only called by David Peters in the big blind.

On a flop of {8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, Young put forward the last 110,000. Peters didn't seem thrilled but couldn't pass up the chance to collect Young's $25,000 bounty. Little did he know he'd love to see what he was up against.

Justin Young: {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
David Peters: {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Young had managed to pick up both flush and gutshot straight draws, but Young's ten-high was ahead and would stay that way as the dealer laid out the {q-Spades} and {k-Clubs} to complete the board, eliminating the Day 1 chip leader. That was, as Peters said, "one of the dirtiest bounty collections you'll ever see".
