Negreanu Put to the Test

Chance Kornuth raised from under the gun to 120,000. Daniel Negreanu, who had been slowly slipping down the chip count since the start of day 2, called from middle position. The remaining players got out of the way to send Negreanu and Kornuth heads up to the flop.

turn saw Kornuth lead out again, this time for a chunkier 430,000. It was not enough to shed Negreanu who called once more.

Sergio Aido was all in and at risk against Ali Imsirovic, who held 
for the overpair to the board. Aido could not beat it and was forced to exit just a few spots shy of getting paid. Meanwhile Imsirovic moves closer to the 3,000,000 chip mark.

David Peters checked from the small blind to Bill Klein, who led out. Peters opted to check raise and, after some consideration, Klein called.
