Ramos Eliminates Le

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Jason Badawi started with a raise and Anh Le called in the cutoff before Gabe Ramos re-raised in the blinds. Both Badawi and Le called.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and it checked to Le who shoved for less than a blind left, called by Ramos and Badawi. The two remaining active players checked on the {5-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river and they revealed their cards.

Ramos flipped over {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, which was the best hand as Badawi held {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Le {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}, and eliminated Le from the event.

Lonis Sends Seiver Out

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

Scott Seiver was found all in preflop in a confrontation again with Jesse Lonis, who had him covered for the following showdown:

Scott Seiver: {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Jesse Lonis: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Seiver was in terrible shape for the double up and found no miracle on a {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board to be eliminated from the tournament.

Hill Mucks River

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

In a raised pot, the flop read {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} when Christina Hill bet and her opponent called on the button.

The turn brought the {k-Diamonds} and Hill's opponent called another bet. The river fell a {10-Diamonds} and this time Hill opted to check-call, but sent her cards into the muck when her opponent revealed {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

Ryan Hansen started the action with a raise on the button and Anthony Zinno decided to re-raise in the big blind. The defending champion made the call.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} and Zinno continued to bet, quickly called by Hansen. The same action happened on the {k-Diamonds} turn.

When the {2-Diamonds} showed up on the river, Zinno sent a last bet but instantly mucked his cards when Hansen made the call.
