Lancaster Hits on River to Knock Out Opponent

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Action was picked up as Lancaster made the call of his opponents all-in move. The flop had already been dealt {7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}.

Opponent: {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Michael Lancaster: {6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Lancaster's opponent improved to a better pair with the {9-Diamonds} turn, but that joy would be short lived as Lancaster improved to two pair on the {a-Spades} river.

The opponent gathered his things and left, still in good spirits, wishing good luck to the table as he departed.

Lancaster scooped the pot, adding to his chip stack which is amongst the biggest in the field.

Set of Aces for Le Versus Pan

Level 3 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

On a raised pot with a flop showing {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, Qinghai 'Jack' Pan checked in the small blind and Anh Le made the call on the button.

The turn revealed a {6-Diamonds} and Pan bet again, followed by a raise from Le. Pan called and the {9-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Both players checked and Pan tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks, but the pot went to to Le who turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for a set of aces.

Punsri Takes Pot with Flopped Broadway

Level 4 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

The cutoff opened with a big bet before Punnat Punsri, on the button, put in the raise to 1,800. The big blind and cutoff both called.

The cutoff continued, albeit opting for the small bet, on the {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop. Punsri made the call before the big blind got out of the way.

On the {4-Spades} turn, the cutoff bet big again, before Punsri raised to 2,400. The cutoff made the call.

The {4-Clubs} came on the river, prompting an identical round of betting as the last street. After making the call, the cutoff turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}, expecting his pair of aces to be good, only to see Punsri turn over {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}, good for the Broadway straight, and the pot.
