Amir Shayesteh

Amir Shayesteh opened in middle position and saw a flop against Kyle Dilschneider in the small blind and Chad Eveslage in the big blind.

Shayesteh bet when checked to on the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and both opponents called. All three players then checked on the {3-Clubs} turn.

Dilschneider led out on the {j-} river and Eveslage raised, leading Shayesteh to fold with less than one big bet behind. Dilschneider called and showed {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} to win the pot.

A few hands later, Eveslage opened and Shayesteh called off in the big blind.

Amir Shayesteh: {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Chad Eveslage: {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs} to give both players pairs, but the {a-Hearts} on the turn left Shayesteh drawing dead headed to the {6-Clubs} river to send him out in eighth place for $27,269.
