Lee on Early Short Stack

Level 2 : 100/200, 300 ante

Bernard Lee's stack was already among the shortest in the room when he took another hit recently.

The poker author and podcaster who finished second in this event in 2017 raised to 600 on the button and was called by Ryan Johnson in the big blind.

After each player drew one, Lee bet 1,500 and was quickly called.

Lee showed {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}, but was pipped by Johnson's {10-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{3-} to drop below the 5,000 chip mark.

Two re-entries are allowed in the tournament so if he does bust soon, his day may be far from done.
