Rocco With an Early Double

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Rocco, who finished runner-up to Jeremy Ausmus in the $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold'em event yesterday, has just doubled up on one of the first hands of the day.

Roman Hrabec opened the pot with a raise to 4,500 before Brant Hale reraised all in for around 35,000. Rocco called and Hrabec folded after a brief tank.

Both players stood pat and Hale showed ten-eight. Rocco, though, had ten-seven to secure the pot. The stacks were counted down and Hale barely had Rocco covered.
