Elias Has Snowmen

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on a flop with 7,500 in the center between Darren Elias on the button and another player in the small blind.

Both the turn {q-Hearts} and river {6-Hearts} checked through as the small blind turned over {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for just ace-high. Elias turned over {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights which was good for the pot.

Action was picked up four ways with Brandon Sheils in the small blind and Matt Affleck on the button with two players out of position.

Kirshak Wins A Big One

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

A hand was picked up on the river between Chris Kirshak in the cutoff and a player in the small blind, with a sizable pot having already inflated.

The board read {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and with roughly 4,000 in the pot, the small blind led out for 2,500. With action on Kirshak, he raised to 12,700 and his opponent went into the tank.

After roughly a minute, the small blind called and Kirshak turned over {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a turned straight, which was good for the pot as his opponent mucked.

Just afterwards, Frank Stepuchin and Tim McDermott sat down at the same table.
