Ivey in the Danger Zone

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Omaha 8 or Better

In a blind versus blind battle, Phil Ivey bet on a flop of {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and David Williams called. Both players checked the {q-Spades} turn.

Ivey checked again when the river came the {10-Spades} and Williams put out four 25,000 chips, a bet of 100,000 that represented most of Ivey's remaining stack.

Ivey spent several minutes in the tank, counting down his stack while staring at the board before he decided to slide in a call.

Williams showed him {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a rivered straight, leaving Ivey with less than 100,000.

Chang Takes Two in Razz

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Razz

Danny Chang: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{5-}{3-}{6-}/{x-}
Michael Estes: {x-}{x-}/{6-}{2-}{4-}{4-} - folded

Michael Estes bet on fifth street and Danny Chang called. On sixth street, it was Chang who bet and Estes who stood up off his seat and stared at Chang's board for more than a minute before folding, saving his last 100,000 chips.

The next hand, Chang was involved in a pot with Steven Loube.

Danny Chang: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{5-}{k-}{7-}/{x-}
Steven Loube: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{3-}{q-}{q-}/{x-}

Loube completed and bet on fourth and fifth streets, with Chang calling both bets. Loube checked to Chang on sixth, then quickly folded to a bet.
