Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Razz

Adrien Panocki: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}/{x-}
Jason Gola: {x-}{x-}/{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}/{x-}

Nguyen Plays One Hand and Busts

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Razz

Thanhlong Nguyen: {x-}{x-}/{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts}/{x-}
Ben Tang: {x-}{x-}/{3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}/{x-}

Ben Tang bet on fifth street and Thanhlong Nguyen called. Tang bet again on sixth.

"F**k it," Nguyen said as he called. On seventh, Tang put out another bet and Nguyen raised for his last 14,000. Tang called.

Nguyen showed {6-}{a-}{3-} for 8-6-3-2-A, but Tang turned over a seven-low to win the pot.

"My first hand," Nguyen said as he got up to leave.

"Maybe the worst hand I've seen played. How do you raise there?" tablemate Mike Matusow added after Nguyen left.

Ivey Catches the Last Queens

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Seven Card Stud

Phil Ivey and Charles Foehl just tangled in another pot, but this time it would be Ivey who would come out in front thanks to a fortunate runout.

Phil Ivey: {x-}{x-}/{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Charles Foehl: {x-}{x-}/{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs} - folded

Both players checked on fourth street before Ivey led out on fifth. Foehl called as Ivey was dealt another queen on sixth, the last one remaining in the deck.

Foehl this time decided to give it up following a bet by the Poker Hall of Famer, and Ivey raked in the pot.

Montgomery bet on fifth and only Morgan called as Kruse got out of the way. Morgan took the lead on sixth and seventh, with Montgomery calling him down.

Morgan turned over {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a 7-6-4-2-A low, while Montgomery had a pair of fives and an eight-low. Chad showed a pair of sevens to take the high pot and he chopped with Morgan who took the low. Chad stayed alive and also took back his credit card.

Berg on a Roll

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

WSOP bracelet winner Lawrence Berg three-bet in the small blind and Colin Burton called from under the gun.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Berg continued with a bet. Burton called, then called another bet on the {9-Spades} turn.

Berg bet out again on the {3-Spades} river and Burton called. "Three sevens," Berg said, turning over {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for a flopped set.

"What a machine," a tablemate said as Berg has increased the 115,000 he began the day with to 350,000 in just one level.

"I had a run like that once. It was back in the '70s. Carter was president," another tablemate added.
