"The Mouth" is Silenced

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Omaha 8 or Better

Mike Matusow was all in on a flop of {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and up against Robert Kearse and Steven Albini.

The turn came the {9-Clubs} and Kearse called a bet on the button from Albini in early position. Both players checked the river.

Kearse showed {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for two pair, aces and tens, while Matusow could only show {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} as he collected his payout slip and made his way to the exit.

Razz

Ari Engel: {x-}{x-}/{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}/{x-}
Daniel Kramer: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}/{x-}
Jonathan Miller: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}/{x-}

Ari Engel and Daniel Kramer both called the 35,000 all-in from Jonathan Miller.

Then, they created a side pot to the seventh street. Jonathan Miller looked disgusting and finally showed {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a 8-2, but it was not enough to win.

Daniel Kramer went all-in on the seventh before he showed {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} but Ari Engel had the best hand with {6-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a 7-2.

"Aces up," Fahmy said, showing {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs} for aces and sixes. "I didn't like that king."

Ivey's Set Takes Out Shulman

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Limit Hold'em

Tom Schneider opened the pot with a raise and Allyn Shulman three-bet in middle position. From the button, Phil Ivey four-bet and both Schneider and Shulman called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and action checked to Ivey, who put out a bet. Both opponents called.

Ivey bet again on the {2-Clubs} turn and that was enough to get rid of Schneider. Shulman, though, pushed all in and Ivey snap-called.

Shulman showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} but was in big trouble against Ivey's {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a set of jacks. The river came the {6-Diamonds} and Ivey sent the bracelet winner to the rail while raking up more than 500,000 chips.

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Geoffrey Hum raised from late position and Georgios Sotiropoulos defended from the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Sotiropoulos checked over to Hum, who put out a bet. Sotiropoulos called, then check-called another bet on the {a-Clubs} turn.
