Lousen Taking the Reigns

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Steve Savoy: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Opponent One: {x-}{x-}/{6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} - Folded Fifth Street
Michelle Lousen: {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}/{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Opponent Two: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Steve Savoy kicked off the hand with a completion and the player two seats to his left raised. Michelle Lousen and another player called, as did Savoy.

The pre-draw raiser bet with Lousen and the player to her right calling. Savoy raised, but it failed to thin the field, as everybody called.

Action checked to Savoy on fifth street and he bet. Only Lousen and her table neighbour called.

Lousen took the lead on sixth street and was called by her opponent and Savoy. Lousen continued with the aggression on seventh street and bet. Her neighbour raised and Savoy quickly called. Lousen flicked in a calling chip.

All three players had made a low, but it was Lousen's six-five which was best. She also made an eight-high straight to take down the big pot.

The very next hand, Lousen made a flush and wheel to rake in consecutive pots to become one of the biggest stacks in the room.
