Lennon Rivers Set

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Joining the action on the river with the board {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} Jeff Lennon bet 69,000 from early position. His opponent went into the tank before making the call in the cutoff. Lennon turned over {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for a set and his opponent mucked.

Lennon confirmed to PokerNews that he was not related to John Lennon but said if he was he wouldn't be playing poker.

Siddik Chips Up with Full House

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Joining the action on the flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts} Nada Siddik, on the button, called the bet of 28,000 from the player in the small blind.

The small blind slowed down on the {k-Hearts} turn by checking to Siddik who bet 50,000. The small blind called.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Siddik bet 75,000 when checked to. Her opponent thought for a bit before making the call. Siddik showed {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for a full house. The small blind mucked.

Melogno Busts One

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds to the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop, Joaquin Melogno looked up the shove by the small blind and was miles ahead with {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the top and bottom pair. His opponent only had the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a pair of nines and found no miracle escape on the {10-Clubs} turn and {j-Diamonds} river runout.

Aoki Scores a Knockout

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The following two hands took place right before the previous break.

Three ways to the {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, it checked to Mikiyo Aoki and she bet 7,000 for Santiago Moises Trujillo on the button and the small blind to call. The {9-Diamonds} turn was checked and the {7-Clubs} fell on the river.

It checked to Trujillo who made it 34,000 to go. The small blind tank-called with very few chips behind while Aoki folded after some consideration. Once Trujillo revealed the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the jack-high straight, Aoki confirmed in table chat she had folded ace-queen of hearts.

In the next hand, Aoki raised to 10,000 and received two callers. The button got the last 15,000 in and three calls followed. On the {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Aoki bet 11,000 for Trujillo to call and the {8-Spades} turn brought another bet for Aoki to isolate successfully.

Button: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Mikiyo Aoki: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Aoki's two pair had already locked up the elimination, which made the {10-Diamonds} river a formality.

Both players checked through the {2-Hearts} turn, and the action repeated on the {a-Hearts} river.

Fabian's Straight Beats Pocket Kings

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

In the small blind, Stefan Fabian opened and was raised to 40,000 by the big blind. Fabian called.

The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} and the big blind continued for 31,000. Fabian called.

On the {j-Diamonds} turn, both players tapped the table.

On the {2-Hearts} river, Fabian checked to the big blind who checked back. Fabian was not that happy with his opponent's check as Fabian tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the nut straight. The big blind turned over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and muttered "of course" as Fabian was handed the pot.
