Rheem Draws The Four To Double Through Bromfman

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 7,500 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

Chino Rheem was all-in from the big blind, at risk against Bromfman in the small, who had called off after raising to 19,500 and Rheem jamming.

Bromfman stood pat and Rheem wasn't best pleased. ''You're standing pat? I'm tilted now'' said Rheem as he stood up out of his chair whilst deliberating which one card to discard.

Bromfman showed {j-}{10-}{9-}{5-}{3-} and Rheem had {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}, needing to avoid pairing or hitting an over-card. Thankfully for Rheem the {4-Spades} came in clutch to double him up

Wong Check-Raises Hellmuth

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 7,500 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised to 17,000 under the gun, Thomas Newton called on the button, and Jerry Wong called in the small blind.

Wong drew one, Hellmuth drew one, and Newton stood pat.

Wong checked, Hellmuth bet 19,000, Newton folded, and Wong check-raised to 70,000.

"Doesn't make sense... what are you doing?" Hellmuth asked while contemplating as Wong stared straight ahead.

Ultimately, Hellmuth called and was shown Wong's {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. Hellmuth sent his cards into the muck as he went on a trademarked muttered tirade under his breath.

"Who are you talking to?" inquired Wong, causing Scott Seiver to burst out laughing.

Negreanu Sent Packing By Livingston

Level 13 : 2,500/5,000, 7,500 ante
Alex Livingston
Alex Livingston

After Daniel Negreanu and Alex Livingston got their money in the middle, it was Negreanu at 129,000 who was at risk. Heads-up both players stood pat.

Negreanu tabled {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{4-} ''I thought I won!'', said Negreanu as Alex Livingston tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-} to have Negreanu pipped in an unfortunate cold deck situation for Kid Poker.

Livingston continues to ascend to the top of the chip counts as he looks for his second bracelet of the summer. Scott Seiver, who also has over 500,000 chips will have something to say about it if he can, as he also looks for bracelet #2 of the Series.

Players will redraw tables after three more bustouts.
