Papais' River Bet Gets The Job Done

Level 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action was picked up in a pot of roughly 7,500 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Jeff Lisandro checked from the small blind and David Papais bet 6,500 from the big blind which was called.

The turn came the {q-Clubs} and both players checked. When the {3-Hearts} hit the river Lisandro checked again and Papais bet 12,500. After little thought Lisandro mucked his hand and the chips were awarded to Papais.
