Winter Doubles Up

Level 29 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Fabian Brandes opened for 350,000 in the cutoff with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} and only Sean Winter made the call on the button with {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Brandes check-called 300,000 from Winter. On the {3-Hearts} turn Brandes checked again and Winter bet 1,575,000 leaving him with 25,000 behind.

Brandes tanked for awhile before announcing all in and Winter made the call. Brandes was in need of an ace or queen to crack the straight of Winter.

The {5-Spades} did not improve the two-pair of Brandes and Winter found the full double up.
