Chidwick and Addamo Put Pressure on Worre

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, Eric Worre led out with a bet of 20,000 from the big blind. Stephen Chidwick raised to 75,000 in the cutoff and Worre called.

The {j-Clubs} hit the river and Worre checked this time. Chidwick sent out a bet of 90,000 and Worre was forced to let his hand go.

On the next hand, Worre limped in from the small blind and Michael Addamo raised to 20,000 in the big blind. Worre called and the dealer fanned the flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Worre check-called a bet of 30,000 from Addamo and the {2-Spades} landed on the turn.

Worre checked again and Addamo sized up with a bet of 155,000. Worre still called and the {5-Spades} completed the board. Worre checked and Addamo went for it all, announcing all in. Worre had around 500,000 chips remaining and thought about it for 30 seconds but sent his cards to the muck.

"Bluffing me?" Worre asked after the hand.

"Maybe," Addamo replied with a shrug.

Level 3 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action came in on a flop of {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts} with a pot of 114,000 already resting in the middle. The two blinds were doing battle as Michael Addamo checked from the small while Masashi Oya was in the big blind and bet 85,000. Addamo swiftly folded.

Addamo Calls Down Koon

Level 4 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jason Koon opened to 12,000 from under the gun and Michael Addamo three-bet to 39,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Koon who called to see a flop of {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Koon checked to Addamo who continued with a bet of 30,000 and Koon called. The turn brought the {7-Clubs} which slowed the action as both players checked. The {8-Clubs} on the river put four clubs on the board.

Koon led out with a bet of 35,000 and Addamo looked him up. Koon showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for just ace-high while Addamo held {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for just a pair of sixes, good enough to win the pot.
