Veltri Chips Up; Anderson Vanishes

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

On the river of a {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} board, Craig Chait was in the tank after he had checked and John Veltri bet from one seat over. Ultimately, Chait settled on a call and was shown the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for two pair. While enjoying a massage, Chait mucked the cards high and they went flying, one of which was flipped over as the {7-Hearts} was exposed.

"You called with the flush draw just to see?" Veltri asked in disbelief and Chait nodded.

One hand later, a short-stacked Calvin Anderson defended against Michael McKenna, who checked behind the {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop. On the {q-Hearts} turn and {k-Spades} river the last few chips of Anderson went in and he was unable to beat the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} of McKenna.
