Seven Card Stud

In three way action to seventh street, Carol Fuchs check-called a bet by Benny Glaser as a third player was also involved in the action. Glaser announced deuces up with a {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Spades} showing but Fuchs had that beat.

Her open {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} had connected with the {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a ten-high straight to win the entire board.

Baker Turns Up the Heat

Renan Bruschi raised from early position and was called by David "ODB" Baker in the big blind. Bruschi continued on the {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, with Baker check-calling to see the {q-Hearts} turn.

Bruschi bet again but was check-raised by Baker, producing a fold to take down the pot.

Roland Israelashvili raised from an early position and then called a three-bet by Scotty Nguyen in the hijack. The {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} flop was check-called by Israelashvili, who then check-called another bet on the {j-Diamonds} turn. Both opted to check the {5-Diamonds} river which Nguyen did by saying "pot is big enough, baby".

Israelashvili announced ace-high and Nguyen earned the pot with the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. "Oh, I needed the nine," Israelashvili chimed in when he saw the cards on the other side of the table.

Daniel Mayoh and Andrew Brown were battling on fifth street, with Brown calling a raise and leaving less than a big bet behind. Mayoh forced Brown all in and was called on sixth, leaving Brown's fate in his final card.

Mayoh was ahead with a straight, and Brown was unable to find a flush bringing an end to his tournament.

Wayne Landry completed to get called by Kazuhiko Yotsushika and Brandon Shack-Harris. It was then Shack-Harris who bet fourth and earned two calls as Landry then bet his lead on fifth, forcing a fold from Yotsushika and earning a call from Shack-Harris.

Landry also bet sixth but folded when Shack-Harris raised it up.
